Anyone may register to coach a team. You do not need to know or have any previous experience coaching. Signing up requires the following:

The deadline to register for all Coaching Clinics is one week (7 full days) prior to the date of the clinic.
Clinic cancellation decisions will be made on this date if minimum registration is not reached. Registration after the deadline may be permitted based on availability.
MAP Centre coaching clinics will be held at the Martensville Athletic Pavilion, 200 Mike Sands Boulevard. One meal per day is provided for clinics 6 hours and over in duration. Unfortunately, special dietary requests will not be accommodated. Priority registration is given to members of the Valley Soccer Association, if you are not a member and wish to register for a clinic, please email directly to vsainfo@valleysoccer.caand your registration will be considered based on availability.
The cost of the clinic will be covered for members of VSA. If any coach signs up for the clinic and fails to attend, the town/club/city association will be charged the cost of the clinic. For two day clinics, attending both days is required for completion.

FUNdamentals (U7-U9 Female/U7-U9 Male)
Learn how to develop the ABCs of movement: Agility, Balance, Coordination and speed, while running a practice session that is fun, safe and keeps children actively engaged. Duration: 8 hours.
Soccer For Life (12 yrs + Female/13 yrs + Male)
The emphasis of this course is on technical and tactical development within the 11-a-side game environment. You’ll learn how to plan and deliver effective, enjoyable, age-appropriate practices and how to provide feedback to your players. Duration: 16 hours.
Certified Coaches will receive a 50% rebate at the end of the season for their child's registration fee for the team they coached (up to one team only)
A certified coach is classified as a coach who has completed their Respect In Sport & submitted their criminal record check for the year they are coaching.
